Seeds of Deception
exposing industry and government lies about the safety of the genetically engineered foods youre eating
Jeffrey Smith
Here's a spellbinding (and frightening) book that provides the information required to back up that instinct about what has been called 'the largest experiment conducted on humans
many of the stories in this book reveal government and corporate manoeuvring worthy of an adventure novel
This book is the blueprint for what we don't want to happen her. Read it and don't weep protest instead.
Lucy Clark, The Sunday Telegraph
Not since Ralph Naders Unsafe at Any Speed has there been such an explosive and alarming exposé of industry malpractice and the risks unwittingly faced by consumers. Seeds of Deception reveals how industry manipulation and political collusion not sound science have allowed dangerous, genetically engineered food into the daily diet of consumers. Company research is rigged, alarming evidence of health dangers is covered up, and intense political pressure is applied.
In Seeds of Deception you will will read internal memos by the US Food and Drug Administration scientists warning of toxins, allergies, and new diseases all ignored by their superiors, including a former attorney for Monsanto. You will discover how industry studies are designed to avoid finding problems. And you will learn why the FDA withheld information from Congress after a genetically modified supplement killed nearly a hundred people and disabled thousands.
Seeds of Deception tells readers what the biotech industry doesnt want them to know. After reading this book, everyone will understand that eating genetically modified food is gambling with their health.
