Canadian journalist Ian Brown has won the 2010 Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction book for his book, The Boy In The Moon: A Father’s Search For His Disabled Son. The CAD$25,000 prize was announced earlier this week in Toronto.

The Boy In The Moon: A Father’s Search For His Disabled Son - out in Australia next month - and it follows Brown’s son Walker who was born with a genetic mutation so rare that doctors call it an orphan syndrome.
